Define short.

Hello February! Hello short hair!

February highlight.

January's over already! Wow! That was fast. So anyway, I am so excited for this month 'cause there are so many great events.

Happy 5th! ;)

My last University week! Or day. Haha Gotta experience the last day of univ week.

Hmm, still thinking about it. Running is not really my kind of thing, but I surely want to join a fun run.

Time to see some high school friends whom I've never seen for years or some that I will be seeing for the first time after grad!

Oh, can I just skip the remaining days of February and jump to the exciting and happy days!!! :))

2010 whatevers.

Oh, 2010 will bring out the materialistic in me. Note that I told myself late last year that I am contented having all the stuff that I got. Though, I will not be frustrated if I don't get the stuff that will be mentioned.

First is to at least have 3000 bucks after my OJT and open an ATM account of my own. Yea, still don't have one. I have but I share it with my sister and my mom still won't let me have it. This year I should have a Mango wallet I've been wanting since late last year, which my boyfriend promised to buy for me and this year also, I swear that I will watch at least one worthy movie in 3D. Also to have a brand new phone. Ehem, Blackberry, ehem. Haha! Any Blackberry model will do. Bold 9000 or Curve 8320 or Curve 8520. Any of the three. Hmm, what else? To have a new gorgeous watch as a graduation gift. Well, my parents already promised me that.

Oh, God! I really can't wait to earn more moneeey! You may think that I just want to spend and spend and spend my cash, but actually no. My internship is a practice of budgeting my cash. Though I already bought stuff using my allowance, I always make it sure that I have at least 500 bucks left every week. :P

Guess who are the covers of Nylon magazine on February.

I would really love to have a copy of this. :">

On Edsa-Ayala.

Why the hell would MMDA or Mr. Bayani Fernando put that not-so-pretty and annoying pink fences and leave a tiny space for the people, where only two persons fit at the same time, when they (as well as everyone) know that everybody goes there to ride buses. I really don't get it. Eff, struggle!

27th of February.

over

It doesn't feel right. I swear! :[

Sherlock Holmes.

Sherlock Holmes is a perfect movie for Robert Downy, Jr. It suits him. And what a funny movie, I must say. Although, I expected something more. There were some boring parts or it was just me but the scenes were great. I loved the casts of the movie. Robert Downy, Jr. FTW please! Plus, Jude Law and Rachel McAdams. Superb!

School vs. Work

Okay, I know that I blogged about how I tired I am of being a student (read here), but as I experienced working as an intern for a week.. here are some of my thoughts about it.

When you're still in school, there are exams, homework, reports and all those stuff that require you to study all the time. When you get home even though you're feeling tired and all, you still have to do all the homework so that means sleeping late, then waking up early for class and that leaves you having lack of sleep. There are terror professors but as a student, it's kinda okay to commit mistakes and fail because you can always get back on track.

In the real world, it's not like that. Yes, when you get home there are no more homework left to do since everything is done in the office. The not-so-funny-part is that in work, not like in school, you can still sleep in class, hang out or cut classes. When you're working, there is no time for rest, you do what you got to do and most importantly, in time. Everything should meet their requirements and schedule. Plus, there is no room for mistakes especially when there are people who are counting on you. You can also meet not-so-good people, whom you cannot avoid but in all that you do, you should always be professional. There is no such thing as an easy work. The good part is that, you know that in everything you do, hardwork always pays off.. and with that I mean salary. And oh, when you're working, you'll wish that you can go back to school again.

It's been an amazing year.

Well, as you all know I give most of my time for school. Not a nerd, just too much school stuff like that. I am happy that everything is falling into place.. especially this year. I never had a failing grade since 2nd year (and that's 2007 :P), we made it through the sysdev series, got a better grade for our thesis proposal, already got accepted as an intern for next term and I am finally done with all my academic subjects. Whattup! I only got 6 units left! It will still take me two terms though, but so what? At least! :D I've never felt so relieved like this. Plus, no more exams starting next term! Woohoo! So great! :D I think I was kind of lucky this year. When it comes to studies, 2009 is a great year for me.

Also, this year I changed into a not-so-materialistic person into a materialistic one. Haha. I know, that sounded negative, but no actually. Well, I got my first apple product and also got other fabulous gadgets. From that, I am now craving for more (i.e. Blackberry :p). But if I would think about it, I got everything I want this year.. especially the things in my Christmas wishlist.

I also had a wonderful birthday this year. I turned 19! Being 19 changed me. In a way, a became more matured. There's something different in the way I think now. That should be the start since I'll be saying goodbye to my teen years next year. This year, I had the greatest time ever with my family and friends.

Plus, next year I will experience my very last summer vacation as a student and soon, I will be waving my hand to college. So, yay! :D That's one thing I am excited about for next year.

I am leaving 2009 with a blast and I shall start the upcoming year right. Happy happy new year to y'all! :)
